Rikako Ikee and Yasuhiro Koseki topped the bill with national records to the mid-way point of Japanese nationals as Tokyo. As ever, the meet has flooded the world rankings top to bottom, from heats, semis and finals. After Ikee took down her own 24-hour-old standard of 56.58 with a 56.38 Japanese record for the 100m butterfly crown, Koseki cracked his own the Asian 50m breaststroke standard in 27.12
