China’s Wang Shun edged closer to contention with Japan’s Kosuke Hagino in the way to world titles in Budapest this summer when he took down his own national 200m medley record in 1:56.16 for the home crown at the 13th National Games in Qingdao. Tan Haiyang of the Navy team and 17 going on 18, was not far away, on a big personal best of 1:57.54
