Half joking, any female athlete who wants to make a family and compete in olympics should time the delivery within two years of competing in the Olympics. That’s an ideal time of having enough time for training and preparation while still keeping the physiological benefits from getting pregnant and lactating.

I suspect that the Zika virus has messed with the plans of any number of female athletes across many sports who had been planning on ‘pulling the goalie’ with their partners and trying for a child around the time of the Rio closing ceremonies.

I think Swim Mac Team Elite will probably have the biggest number of Olympic qualifiers and probably Olympic medals too…

such unfortunate timing this zika virus. Who can refuse the temptation of the athletes’ heavenly physiques, the intoxicating sense of celebration and the sexiness atmosphere of Rio?
Luckily, for some, the organizers come to the rescue with the provision of ample amounts of protectors.

Bad anon,
who do you think from swimmac will qualify and who win medals?
Lochte is at the top of course.

Ample doesn’t do it, aswimfan. If the athletes use a 10th of what’s available they’ll be too exhausted to compete 🙂

Cammile Adams(200fly), Katie Meili(100breast), Cullen Jones/Feign/Ervin(400frr)

Badanon you named the three guys I bet would not qualify at all. If they did kazan 2 would happen and us should just give up the 4×100 relay.

I tend to agree with Rafael, although there’s a slight chance Feigen will qualify as relay alternate.
Can’t see Jones and Earvin qualify through relay alternates, and the chance in 50 free is almost closing now that Adrian and Dressel are consolidating their claims.

Don’t forget Madison Kennedy in 50 free, I think she’ll get the berth.
David Marsh has also done a fantastic job with another female sprinter : Ariana VDW

As the reigning Olympic champ in the 200 backstroke, Tyler Clary deserves a nod as a SwimMac contender.
