Didn’t think the Dutch were so petty, thought they were more supportive.

I’m always a little surprised when people complain that they weren’t supported when they didn’t make time cuts… If the cut is 22.19 and you went 22.28 – as minuscule as that difference is – you didn’t make the cut time. It’s pretty simple, really.

I do understand that there are some subjective criteria for selection but, fundamentally, swimming is an objective sport; one of the most objective. if you want to make the team, make the cut time.
