I just cannot believe it has been 25-years!!!!! I don’t miss the bad old DDR days, but I do miss how Janet Evans became a star in our country when she decimated the DDR ladies in her three races – especially the 400 free. NBC really played that point up. Tiny and tiger-like Janet Evans facing and beating the bigger and stronger East German women.
