I venture to say that this is the most apt title name to be given for an award.
Does FINA has such award?
In tennis, you have all sort of awards based on former greats such as Stefan Edberg most fair player etc.

Not that I’m aware, aswimfan, the FINA Order is the top prize, with gold and silver ‘pins’ below that. I’m unaware of any prize named in honour of a great swimmer or other contributor, such as a coach.
