Runge was also 4:04 in the big pool last summer and it went a little unnoticed because she was chasing Ledecky at the time. She’s 6’3″/1.82 meters tall and seems to be at the point where she’s very successfully figuring out what to do with that.

She’s got lots of upside and will be interesting to follow heading toward Rio.

I agree beachmouse. Runge might be the best situated to give Ledecky some competition. Nice to see Missy having a good meet also.

Nah. LC is a different animal. Winning and doing great in College swimming doesn’t guarantee you anything. Just ask Pelton.
