Editorial: Today, we regard Peru’s Mauricio Fiol, shy of confirmation, as a bad apple. Assuming the bad stuff is in the B sample, too, the bad apple will be tossed from the bag. But if the Stanozolol did indeed make it to the Peruvian’s bloodstream as the A sample indicates, the question is not just how but who, as in who were the other bad apples who turned a young athlete to the stuff of rot?
