Speedo Fit: A Journalist’s Fearful Dive Into the Pool

Today was supposed to commence my participation in the Speedo Fit program, eight days of swimming designed to elevate individuals’ fitness levels. There are three levels to choose from in SpeedoFit, and I’ve gone for the Starter level. A security hiccup in terms of access to the warmup facility we were supposed to use delayed my start, but we’ll give it a go again tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s what I’m thinking as the program beckons.
