Sarah Sjöström Steals Show With Swift 100m Brace; Kolesnikov, 17, on 48.5 There & Back

Swedish sprinter Sarah Sjöström stole the show in the curtain-closing session of the Euro Meet in Luxembourg this afternoon with a swift brace of victories, one in meet-record time, the other rattling another of her decent standards – on 56.7 in 100 ‘fly and 53.4 in 100 free. The session also witnessed meet marks from Britain’s Georgia Davies and Ukraine’s Mykhaylo Romanchuk and a big 48.52 personal best in the 100m freestyle from 17-year-old fellow member of the Energy Standard swim club, Russia’s Kliment Kolesnikov.
