Rikako Ikee today cracked the Asian record in the women’s 50m freestyle with a 24.48 blast at the Konami Open. Ikee, who had a previous best of 24.67 from last year, was six years shy of birth when China’s Le Jingyi set the then world record of 24.51 at the Rome 1994 World Championships. Ikea’s effort leapfrogged Le and two Chinese teenagers with doping records to their names
