What an absolute shambles. They employed David Lyles to coach Lauren, that didn’t work they sack him move her to Miami & now have apparently have employed Fred Vergnoux to do the same thing. She’s in a great place training with Hackett, Harrison, TFH & the list goes on and on. Swimming NZ turned down at least 1 brilliant coach who could’ve done great things with the swimming population not 1 swimmer. They make the same mistakes time & time again. What’s happened with Luis will surely come out at some stage that seems awfully bizarre considering what he had to say just a month ago about his job and life in Auckland.

Pity the poor buggar who picks up this poison chalice.
