Murphy Surges in 200 Backstroke at U.S. Open

Just because the World Championships are taking place in Barcelona doesn’t mean there isn’t fast swimming taking place in other parts of the world. On the second day of the U.S. Open in Southern California, Ryan Murphy (Bolles Sharks) and Russia’s Arkady Vyatchanin (New York Athletic Club) engaged in a solid duel in the 200 backstroke.
