Mireia Belmonte, Spain’s Olympic and Worlds podium placer, has withdrawn from the Mare Nostrum Tour that gets underway at the weekend in Canet as well as the Sette Colli meet in Rome next week to focus on recovery from injuries to both her shoulders

She’s been having problems with her shoulders lately… I hope it doesn’t prevent her from training hard so she can win a gold finally

Yikes looks like James Magnussen is not alone in his injuries… Speedy recovery for both!

I hope she’s ok and will be at her best soon. I hope she wins gold either in Kazan or Rio. I don’t think she’s won gold at either LCM Worlds or Olympics.
