The same folk whom accepted without challenge a three-month retrospective ban for a failed doping test? Not this day, as it turns out. Townley Haas, of the United States was the first man home in 1:45.04, Alex Krasnyk, of Russia, next on 1:45.23, followed by British teammates Duncan Scott and James Guy, on 1:45.27 and 1:45.36 respectively.
