Lochte Sets Up Camp in Charlotte Under Marsh’s Watch

By the time the 2016 Olympic Games roll around, Ryan Lochte will be a 32-year-old athlete and – in all likelihood – participating in his final Olympiad. Yet, he has no intention of making his appearance in Rio de Janeiro anything less than ideal, and in pursuit of additional Olympic hardware, Lochte has joined forces with David Marsh at SwimMac in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I have never given much credence to a world championships which immediately follows the Olympic year. Ryan won two titles but I can guarantee that there are young swimmers ready to take 2016 as their own. He is going to need everything he can get if he is going to put his stamp on Rio. I hope working with Marsh is successful.
