I can see the attraction of trying to keep the training experience fresh after many years of being in the same club, under the one coach, for what will probably be his last Olympics.

I suspect though, that this benefit may be outweighed by the disadvantage of a lack of consistency in training methods and program oversight from the one coach? Especialy one as talented as Greg Troy.
