Elizabeth Simmonds leapt to third in the world this year with a 2:00.91 victory over 200m backstroke that left her just 0.08sec shy of her own British record in the curtain-closing session at the ASA Winter Meet in Sheffield but returns her to the sub-2:01 zone for the first time in four years.
