The World Cup has a very solid place in the grander scheme of world-class swimming: it is the laboratory of the racer. And today at the sixth round of the 2013 FINA/Arena World Cup at the Singapore Sports School, leader board kind and queen Chad Le Clos and Katinka Hosszu whacked up their Bunsen burners to produce another series of part-time results that will one day contribute to a prize far bigger than the $100,000 overall purses that they are surely heading for come the close of play in Beijing next week
