This subscription based site is not going to be successful at all. A quick search on google trends shows that this site has around 1/5 of the traffic as your direct competitor. And they have no such subscription based articles. Maybe in the future, after you guys got increased traffic, it would have made sense. But this is a recipe for fading into obscurity rather quickly.
