Well that was one of the more exciting and high quality races I’ve seen at a Danish national championships for quite some time 🙂

Pleasing that Jeanette was only 0.01 from her Danish record. She said in an interview after the race with DR that she doesn’t train specifically for the 50 free as she is focusing much more on her butterfly so it’s more of a ‘bonus’ race for her. Looking forward to seeing what she can do in the fly races.

Meanwhile, RMP needs to find her short course mojo. After such a fantastically consistent long course season with 4 sub 2:20s, she seems to be just off her game a bit. I hope she can find that last few % in time for Doha.
