James Guy will head to Hungary hungry for more this July in his return to the 400m freestyle at World titles two years after silver at his global debut for Britain after a resounding 3:44.74 victory on the opening night of finals at the British Championships in Sheffield. The battle for the second berth to Budapest was keen and it went by just 0.04sec to Perth City’s Stephen Milne in 3:46.16, Max Litchfield raising a cheer from the home crowd in Sheffield with a big personal best of 3:46.20.
