The Fran Crippen Memorial Swim Meet in California this weekend will feature a repeat of the Santa Clara distance clash of last weekend, with young Australian Mack Horton taking on Canadian Olympic medallist of 2008 and 2012 Ryan Cochrane and the developing talent he trains with at Island; also racing are a shoal of next-wavers, such as Aussie 19-year-old sprinter Luke Peddie, three CAL teammates of the same age Jakob Pebley, Josh Prenot and Adam Hinshaw, and Canadian Ashton Baumann
