High noon in Durban today found Olympic champion Chad le Clos following up on a 1:56.27 200m butterfly opener for Games season. The 23-year-old surfed into world No 3 on the fledgling annual rankings with an evening heats effort at the Durban round of the South African Grand Prix. He followed up with a 1:56.42 in the final.
