Cameron McEvoy put it so well when explaining after a 21.73 Down Under today that the dash was just “fun” because “I’m still 0.6 behind current world champion Florent Manaudou which in a 50 is miles; he could finish, have a coffee and watch me finish after”. Manaudou chinked a glass to the caricature by wresting back the helm of the world rankings from the Australian with a 21.57 win at the Amiens round of the Golden Tour at home in France this evening
