Faith Leech, Olympic relay champion and 100m freestyle podium placer at Melbourne 1956 alongside Australian teammates Dawn Fraser and Lorainne Crapp, has passed away at the age of 72; to make up for a lack of pool, she worked on dry land, silting freestyle action by using a pulley attached to the kitchen door at the family home
