Cheers To Ireland’s Guinness Book Of Records 100x50m Pace-Setting Swimmers

Ireland’s swimmers, their coaches from Swim Ireland and home programs gathered for a spot of 2017 motivational New-Year, New-Season, New-Start cheer last September.

The challenge they set themselves to celebrate European Sports Week? 100x50m – and they swam at a speed worthy of an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. Their efforts contributed thousands of euros to cancer cure and care in Ireland. 

Ratification was given – the standard sealed at 46 minutes, 38.04 seconds  – and this week Swim Ireland video was posted for all to enjoy the ride with Ireland’s swimmers on the move.
