The Canadian quartet of Michelle Williams (24.07), Sandrine Mainville (23.62), Taylor Ruck (23.77) and Olympic 100m champion Penny Oleksiak (23.54) clocked a championship record of 1:35.00 to grant the hosts a fine start to the curtian-closing session in the mini freestyle relay.
