At a young age, Australia’s Cate Campbell was tabbed as a future star in the sprint freestyle events. While she has enjoyed some success, multiple illnesses and bad timing has prevented her from reaching her full potential. By the time the World Championships in Barcelona are over, she could be sprinting’s Golden Girl.

The World hasn’t seen what she is capable of doing, but I can foresee it. It’s a superior victory in 100m free. She may touch the wall a full body length ahead of others. And Cate is a tall woman.

I so want her to win !!! but I really hope she doesn’t make the same mistakes as magnussen ! He too was meant to blow away the field and threaten the WR …

Granted Cate doesn’t have the same attitude at all so i think it’s good but she has to stay concentrated on the end goal !! 7 great swims count for nothing if the one in the final isn’t as good =)
