Mireia Belmonte, three world records in the mix of a stellar year, added the Spanish 400m free s/c crown at nationals in Castellon this evening a day after cracking the world 1500m free mark; On the new record she established yesterday, Belmonte tells SwimVortex.com: “After racing the hour [for-distance challenge] in Compiegne last weekend, I knew that my distance fitness was solid, but a WR is a nice Christmas surprise!”
