Soren Meissner got the waters of Wuppertal rolling at the start of another wave of qualifiers for the European short-course Championships on the third day of German nationals with a 14:41.03 victory in the 1500m freestyle that granted him the season world rank No 10 in a race with teenagers Jacob Heidtmann and Florian Vogel, on 14:42.83 and 14:46.47 respectively; Christian Diener and Tim Wallburger also enter season world top 10
