W1500m Freestyle: Boglarka Kapas Delivers Distance Double In 15:50 Championship Mark

Defending champion Mireia Belmonte claimed gold in 2012 and again in 2014 ahead of different Hungarians. Beaten into silver two years ago, Boglarka Kapas turned tables on the Spaniard in Olympic season 2016 with a 15:50.22 championship-record victory. Silver to Belmonte, Bronze to teammate Maria Vilas Vidal to give Spain the lead on the historic medals table.
