The competitive gene lives and breathes in James Guy. Last year, he played table tennis with teammates on the first of two training camps and got beaten several times. Back home between one camp and the next he “played table tennis every single day with dad at home just so I could smash ‘em all on the camp in Mallorca. I was undefeated on that camp”.
