It is not confirmed if Agnel will swim 100 free.

In the interview with French TV, Agnel said he will swim 200 free, 4×100 free, 4×200 free, and in 4×100 medley if he’s needed.

Will he swim? will he swim not? The French have so many drama.

Agnel won’t swim the 100 free.
The question is : who will swim it from France?

Meynard took the first ticket in the french trials, and if he comes back to his best level (3rd in Shangai 2011 in 48.00), he has a good chance to battle for a medal!

In theory, it’s Fabien Gilot who will swim the 100 free with Meynard (because he finished third behind Meynard and Agnel). But with a personal time of 48.74 this year, he probably won’t go in the final…

Unfortunately, because they didn’t swim the 100 free during french trials, Manaudou (48.41) and Stravius (48.53) can’t swim the individual 100 free.

But for sure we will defend our relay Olympic title with these guys!!

Morozov is in an enviable position. In tremendous form but without the pressure that either Maggie or Adrian have as no1 rank/ textile WR holder and Olympic Champ respectively.

But I can’t see Maggie losing. People forget his mental strength. Firstly in Shanghai holding his nerve after relay textile WR lead-off to win the individual 100 free. Then in London picking himself up after the disastrous relay and securing silver, only a fingernail from gold. It could have been nothing.

i think the missile take sprint double…
