Jan Switkowski continued his bull run at Polish nationals in Lublin with a 52.04 to 52.07 victory over Konrad Czerniak in the 100m butterfly on the third of four days of racing that doubles as trials for the World Championships, Universiade and World and European Junior Championships; The backstroke dash final delivered passage to Hungary in late July for Tomasz Polewka, of AZS AWF Katowice, whose 24.77 was good for fourth on the 2017 world rankings
