Please note that Elaine Johnston was Duncan’s coach at school. Whilst there, coaching was shared with Steven. Now he is coached at University of Stirling by Steven Tigg.

Hi Joy, I know .. thanks. It is just how his official profiles are always listed. We reported Steven receiving the relevant Scottish coaching award for his work with Duncan etc:

Thanks

Why could Robbie Renwick and Ross Murdoch not swim at these champs? I though they were both Stirling too?

Craig Lord

I don’t know Shelly but they were on world cup tour recently and it may be that they have different race and training scheds/other commitments that don’t fit well in terms of disruption of a few days in Sheffield etc.

Linny

They were both swimming in Inverness that weekend. I don’t know why they didn’t swim in Sheffield in preference but perhaps they are not matriculated this year or maybe they just fancied a trip to the Highlands?

Craig Lord

Thanks Linny: a trip to the Highlands sounds like a fine option to me 🙂
(What was the inverness meet?)

Linny

North District Grand Prix – the first leg of the Scottish 2015/16 series (I say series but this year there will be only two, the second being in Edinburgh at end of May).

A predominately Scottish affair this year with Robbie, Ross, Hannah Miley and Corrie Scott probably the headline swimmers. Results http://www.sasanorth.org.uk/Meets/2015/District/2015GPNov/Web/index.htm

Thanks Linny. Several swims for the upper realms of the fledgling s/c ranks 2015-16 season (soon to be switched on…).

Shelly Kerr

Many thanks,

Maybe neither are students? I saw Scott also went 22.00 and 3.43.99… That’s an impressive range!

Thanks for those results Linnie
