Bath swimmers wow

I mean Bath swimmers training at Miillfield school 12 times in 5 days, job well done. Bring on the B Champs. Looking forward to the Mens Breast 100M and 200M, can’t call it next month. Not sure how many Brit Breaststrokers are in the World top 10!?!

What’s going on at Loughborough?? Nothing more than jet lag hopefully!

Craig Lord

I would imagine hard work about this time of year 🙂

Dee

The Loughborough swimmers weren’t too bad at all – Halsall & Davies look in good shape. Rachael Kelly is swimming brilliantly this year already.. two PBs over 100fly in 2015. Wilby top 3 in both 100/200br races.. Barratt is ahead of where he was before trials in 2014 and Tancock is around the same place right now.

Perhaps not on fire like the Bath or Edinburgh swimmers – But swimming very well nonetheless.

Is Stirling an NTC, or just Sotlands one?

They seem to have a lot of the best swimmers going there…

Duncan Scott was competing for them I saw too?

Dee

Stirling is arguably the most well-established University swim team in Scotland, Coachy – It is acknowledged as Scotland’s University for sporting excellence. Stirling was an ITC until 2013 – The same facilities are still available to swimmers, but without the same amount of support British Swimming once offered. As far as I am aware, Scottish Swimming stepped in and works closely with UofStirling.

Thanks Dee…

It certainly appears to be the best set up North of the border, and a magnate for the best talent! Although the Edinburgh team appears to have more swimmers, just not at the same level…

Craig Lord

Thanks Dee… coachy, the situation is similar in Swansea, with Swimming Wales having stepped in after post London 2012 cuts…

Makes sense now Craig, thank you…

Looks like cuts have had a positive impact in this instance.
