Great swim and a big PB time. With Katie Mclaughlin also showing well recently, it’s a pity there’s no trials this year closer to the main event in Kazan.

It’s now a trend in USA swimming owing to the selection criteria, I’m also certain Katie Meili will put up a time that would threaten a podium finish in the 100breast as well. Even in 2011 when Franklin went 1.55flat on the relay lead off, similar mumurs were heard ; but its what it is. Hope she can back it up in finals and most importantly at trials next summer
