Sarah Sjostrom made it three butterfly dashes swifter than the best of any other swimmer so far this year as she warmed up this morning at the Swim Open in Stockholm. Her 25.63 rates as a calm affair for the Olympic 100m champion but only eight other women have ever swum faster in textile, while the 25.64 at which Inge De Bruijn held the world record in the year she claimed three Olympic titles at Sydney 2000 feels like the stuff of deep history.
