S. Africa’s Rousseau Headlines Start of U.S. Open

While the World Championships are unfolding in Barcelona, the U.S. Open got under way in Irvine, California on Tuesday, with South African Sebastien Rousseau providing the top performance of the opening day. Representing Gator Swim Club, Rousseau posted a time of 1:55.64 to win the men’s 200 butterfly ahead of Club Wolverine’s Dylan Bosch (1:57.28).
