Prosecutor Calls For Nutritionist Working with Swimmers To Face Doping Charges

Allegations of doping practices by a nutritionist who has, at one stage or another, worked with the 2005 and 2007 world 100m freestyle champion Filippo Magnini, Federica Pellegrini and athletes from several sports, have been passed to the federal court for consideration after a two-year investigation ordered by the prosecutor of Pesaro. Magnini has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the investigating judge in Pesaro, while Investigators have called for the indictment of Dr. Guido Porcellini and Antonio María De Grandis on grounds of trading in doping substances as well as falsifying records, receiving and administering medicines beyond their use by date
