I’m pleased for Jazz Carlin. I didn’t give her much hope after the 800m; 8:27 and looking out of sorts. But to come back and get close to her best was a great performance and she richly deserves her ticket. A gutsy swim with all that went before. A good night all round for automatic QT’s. Ironically, however, the swim of the evening for me was Shuttleworths 1500m which was just outside the QT, although he is surely on the plane.
