Tancock, Simmonds and Roebuck who have all changed coaches since the Olympics have not made the team. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the faith in their new stables and bounce back. It looks like Tancock and his new coach James Gibson have been working towards the 100 and being able to back end it; his is not going to be a quick process – so far removed from the way that Tancock has always swum the 100 (get out first at 50 and try and hang on) – that it’s not surprising that they haven’t been able to nail it just yet.
