American butterfly Olympic and World Championship teamster Tyler McGill, a bronze medallist at Shanghai 2011, has retired, according to reports in the US. McGill is said to have signed off the anti-doping roster; McGill has an Olympic gold medal from London 2012, his ‘fly leg of the 4x100m medley relay heats setting up the 22nd Olympic medal and 18th career gold of Michael Phelps
