Olympic silver medallist Masato Sakai thundered to a 1:53.71 victory and Suzuka Hasegawa set a world junior record of 2:06.29 as Japanese swimmers propelled themselves to the helm of both the men’s and women’s 200m butterfly rankings on the penultimate day of the Japanese Swimming Championships in Aichi.
