Le Clos breastroke split of 36.33 is as fast as Leverenz @ her best… He really needs to pull up his socks. A 2sec improvement on that leg will guarantee Le Clos an Olympic podium place….


No it won’t. That would be a 1:56 which will not win a medal. He should give up his medley dream because it’s over. Worry about the flies Chad

1.56 won Laszlo Cseh a bronze in London. In fact he was 1.57.66.. If there is an event LeCols has great potential, its the 200IM. Le Clos can/will medal in 200/400IM and 100/200fly in Rio. There is a lot of room for improvement in both medleys and the fly events as well…

1.56.22 was Cseh’s time for bronze… With Phelpes, Lochte, Hagino et.al it’ll be a real do fight. 1.56 may not cut it… Though i think Le Clos has a 1.55 200IM in him…..
