Swimming in Denmark has really picked up its tempo, with Mie, Jeanette, Rikke, and now Viktor. Pernille will be sure to anchor the 4×100 medley. If Rikke can step up, we could see a definite medal hope..

My heart goes out to Laszlo Cseh, he was born in the wrong era, second so many times to the worlds greatest athlete of all time & World champ once in 2005.

It would be a great story to tell his children if he can replicate his success from Montreal 10 years ago, 1 year out from the olympics.

My money is still on Chad. A fighter, an Olympic Champion, a hero to many and a damn good swimmer. It will be Cassius Clay vs George Forman — The Thrilla in Manilla (for those of you who dont know, Chad is a big Muhammad Ali fan)

I agree Wez, it’ll be very interesting to see Le Clos being pushed to his limit. I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of them under 1.53.

Although Chad’s semi performance was so much better than the heats, it still didn’t look very flowing. His comment to Sharron re needing a 1.52 to win it tomorrow was interesting.

My money’s on Laszlo for the win.

One thing i found interesting is the pace at which Laszlo went out. Very controlled. Almost “slow” for the race.

If he tries to swim chad’s race, he might find himself tying up at the end. He needs to focus on himself if he wants to win tonight

Laszlo not in the 200 IM heats, restting up for the big fly final!
