If Sjostrom choose to swim 50 free, 100 fly and 200 free in Rio next year, she will have a good chance to be the first swimmer ever to win 50-100-200 golds in a single major championships.

There is no “IF”. She has already announced that she has chosen to compete in those races. She had even greater challenge this year: 50 -50 – 100 -100 at WC. That would make her the strongest sprinter ever. Who would know that Campbell Dragon is of two heads. That beating Cate wouldn’t be enough. Exotic Rio may surprise us with exotic races. Just nine months left to wait.
