To consider these voting results seriously it will be nice to know how many people were actually voting and what the distribution by voters’ residence is. With a few exceptions such numbers are never get disclosed at any voting procedures for more or less obvious reasons.
Based on the accuracy of voting results for Ledecky presented in this article I can estimate that at least 33 persons have participated.
If to remember how knowledgeable the swimvortex community is then this number of judges is large enough to be sure that awards found right people.
Congratulations Swimvortex.com.

497 Yozhik … though not everyone filled the whole form in, so stats can’t be applied in same measure to all results. Still, a decent sample.

The main reason I did not vote was there were too many categories! Agree with the winners though so my vote would not have made any difference to the outcome!

All partial votes were counted, Gheko. Our approach here is: we do what we can, feel free to do the same 🙂

Craig, Merry Christmas, great work this year by you and your team. I have a question for you, loosely related to Peaty.
Do you think there are any tell tale signs with predicting which juniors will be star seniors? Peaty was a very good junior but some way behind Craig Benson, who has progressed a little but not to the same extent. Similarly, the other standout GB swimmer right now – James Guy – was a great junior, but not as great as Matthew Johnson who has gone backwards. I thought you might have useful thoughts on this, because I do remember you picking out Guy as one with great promise, even as Johnson was besting him. Thanks
Stirlo
