I’m very pleased with the Schmitt’s current results. The double 54.3(100)-4:08(400) is promising that we will see under 1:56 tomorrow and dominant 4×200 in Rio.
26.70 for the first 50m is very slow by Franklin’s standards. Has she lost this ability. She hasn’t shown herself as a sprinter this season yet. It is about time being just three weeks away from OT. The competition to be in relay team is hot. Franklin is currently #8.

Franklin will be just fine. She’s a taper swimmer.. She’ll deliver when it matters most. She knows how to get it done. Omaha will testify to that. Watch this space……….!

I agree with Bad Anon, Franklin is a big taper swimmer, always has been.
If you scour Missy’s historical results from way back during her age groups swims, she has always delivered her yearly fastest swims during tapered meets.

Eugene Chc

She is taper swimmer, but her sprint is awful now.
We didn see her LC sprin swim under Cal coaching.
